A Japanese-American fifth-grader faces a culture clash in the lunchroom of her new school.
Alongside everyone else in the world, most of our plans for 2020 fell through - including filming our beloved Bento Box. But never fear! While on lock down, we still wanted to tell our story. And with that, we were able to virtually connect with tons of talent nationwide that we wouldn’t have been able to prior. We even got to safely shoot a couple of scenes IRL - hence the smorgasbord layout of table read recording and in person filming in this film.
